FULL BLOWN CHAOS Signs With FERRET MUSIC

June 8, 2007

Ferret Music has announced the signing of New York hardcore heroes FULL BLOWN CHAOS. The band will release its next full-length CD, titled "Heavy Lies the Crown", this August.

Commenting on the signing, vocalist Ray Mazzola says, "We spoke to a lot of labels and a lot of big players made offers but no band on Ferret we've known has had bad dealings or picked up and left on bad terms, there's a lot to say about that. We needed a label that is going to work as hard as us, you can only go so far if your team doesn't put as much into your band as you do and we feel we have that with Ferret."

"Heavy Lies the Crown" was produced by the band with Billy Graziadei of BIOHAZARD.

"A lot of bands come out every album and say that their new endeavor is their best work but I can honestly say 'Heavy Lies The Crown' is the best record we've done up to now," says Mazzola. "It's FULL BLOWN CHAOS channeling a lot of our influences but not adapting to that style, more utilizing those influences in our songs. . . This is the sound of us getting ready for war. Our last album was very encouraging with many positive overtones. I'm still a positive person but we've gone through so many challenges and battles with friends, family, significant others and people we know since we've become a full time band that all of those negative experiences ended up fueling our music further. Like I always tell those closest to us, if you fuck with someone in this band you're gonna end up with a song about you."

The band — made up of Mazzola, Mike Facci (guitar),Jeff Facci (drums) and Mike "Lurk" Ruehle (bass) — released two successful albums in the last few years: "Wake the Demons" (2004) and "Within the Grasp of Titans" (2006).
